Dena Rasmussen
Dena is a stay at home mom with two small children. She began
dancing at the age of five and continued into her late teens. Her
first exposure to Pilates was in a gym setting with Mat Classes.
Dena regularly participated in Mat work throughout her twenties
along with a variety of styles of Yoga and Dance inspired movement
classes.
After her second child and second c-section Dena decided she wanted
and needed an exercise program that would be gentle enough on her
healing body but still provide a full body and mind experience. Her
love of Pilates deepened and her personal practice expanded. She
completed the teacher-training course with Nora St. John, earning
her certificate at Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek,
California.
Pilates has changed Dena’s life in many ways. She is stronger,
healthier and appreciates all that her body does for her every day.
Dena looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm and love of movement
with people to help them improve their lives as well.
Dena teaches Private, duets or small classes
